Yes — sterling silver can tarnish, and gentle polishing restores its shine. For plain, unplated silver, use a silver-polishing cloth with light pressure, following the cloth's instructions, then buff with a clean, soft cloth. Don't polish away deliberately darkened, antique or oxidised details. Keep treated polishing cloths and silver cleaners away from pearls, stones, leather, cord and other non-silver parts.
